Il Parquet di Colombari deals with the sale and supply of indoor and outdoor parquet, renovation of fine wooden floors, sanding, polishing and varnishing of parquet, of artistic wooden parquet and floors, with design and inlay modules. The activity involves the construction and laying of parquet, with specialised personnel, for state-of-the-art installations. The types of parquet laying: brick, diagonal, ship deck, regular quarterdeck, herringbone, band and seal, mosaic laying, Hungarian point and basket weave.
Creations of parquet, class finishes

Mosaic laying
Mosaic laid parquet (or plaid laying) is composed of small elements of the same size which, placed side by side and combined, create squares; then arrange these squares so that they are alternated with one another.
Hungarian Point
In Hungarian point laying (also called French point) the elements placed have the two short sides cut with an inclination of 33° to 45°. The laying methods are the same as for the Italian herringbone pattern. Also in this case it is possible to choose different types of wood in order to make the two areas of the parquet together more evident.
Herringbone
Among the various pattern of laying parquet, the herringbone pattern (or Italian herringbone) is the most widely used: the herringbone laying elements are rectangular, of equal size, placed in parallel rows at 90° between them, so that the head of one matches the side of the other (when laid, the parquet recalls the shape of a fishbone, hence the name).
Band and Seal
By band and bindell laying we refer to the finishing of the perimeter area of the floor (‘frame’). This is formed by the installation of elements with different laying geometries compared to those of the central carpet, as well as by other elements placed as a connection (the seal) between the two areas with different laying geometries. In essence, a centring frame is created around the wall.
